Naim, quietly and quite stealthily walked across the brightened and sun-kissed grass of the park. Gradually, finding a peaceful spot under a huge oak tree, that seemed to almost touch the sky blue limits of the sky. Slowly he sat down, cross-legged, the soft grass tickling his fingers as he rested his hands beside him. He slowly leaned back after a few heartbeats, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't bring himself to shut his sapphire eyes. After, all of the turmoil here, there was no way for him to close his eyes and let down his guard for a moment.

"I couldn't tell you why she felt that way, She felt it everyday. And I couldn't help her, I just watched her make the same mistakes again."
Singing was one of Rhiannon's favourite things and she was often complimented about how well she sang but then again, not many bad words were spoken in this town, or at least, there never used to be any bad words but now there is no escaping it. Everywhere around, bad things seemed to be happening. Even though she was nineteen, the fact that the school had closed down really affected her, mainly because she knew that it meant the place really was going down.
Closing her eyes, she knew that she couldn't think things like that right now, it was her job to keep her thoughts clear and just try to save the town. The song that she was singing happened to be her favourite song as it reminded her of herself when she was younger. So it wasn't the best memory in the world but she felt connected with the song and that was the main thing. Continuing on with the song, her feet moved across the floor, leading her to the heavenly gardens.
The place, as she had expected, was pretty much deserted, there was only a couple of people out. One guy caught her attention, however. He was sitting on the grass cross-legged and there was something about him that just drew her attention to him and she knew that she would just have to go up to him and talk to him, there was no way she could ignore her urges. Placing a smile on her face and stopping the singing completely she made her way up to the boy.
"You up to anything in particular?" she asked sitting down beside him, she wouldn't judge him if he stood up and ran away right then, the whole town was edgy and no one was sure who they could really trust anymore, Rhia was trying to look past that, she just wasn't sure she was doing such a great job. "I'm Rhiannon, Rhia Ellis" she said with a grin, before turning away from him and looking out across the rest of the gardens, this whole place was so ruined now.

Naim heaved a sigh and shrugged as he heard Rhia. He wasn't frightened or scared off either, he honestly wasn't afraid of anyone at the moment. His gaze slowly went over to her, and he faintly smiled. "And, what would the something in particular be?" He replied, slightly raising his eyebrow curiously. "I'm Naim, by the way," He added.

"Why should I know?" Rhia responded with a small shrug, she had only said it to get the conversation going, she didn't believe in letting someone sit alone by themself, it was just cruel and unfair. Pushing a piece of her hair behind her ear she turned to look at her surroundings once more. It was something she did quite often, to look at where she was rather than who she was, it just helped her to settle down more and really get into a conversation, it made her feel more settled.
Turning back to the guy she flashed him a genuine smile before stretching her hand out to him, "It's nice to meet you Naim" she said, waiting for him to shake her hand. The minute he did that she was sure that she could trust him, she didn't want to go around making friends with the wrong people and get herself in a lot of trouble now did she? That was the last thing she wanted. It was her mission to make this place safe once more and she couldn't do that if something bad happened to her.

Naim faintly smiled, and leaned back once more, against the rough bark of the oak tree. "Well, it's something new to have someone that actually talks to you," He said, recalling a few hours ago, when everyone kept to themselves, and didn't even come within a few meters of another person.
"What brings you over to the gardens?" He asked, with a hint of curiousity. But, he wanted to also start to conversation. Afterall, he had nothing better to do.

At his words, Rhiannon looked around the garden's once more, a sad look had filled her eyes but not her face, she still had a smile on her face. She hated the way that everything had changed and restoring it back to the way it used to be turned out to be a lot harder to do then what she first thought it would be. Before anyone could talk to someone and there would be no suspicion as to why, now that's all there was. No one was able to trust anyone anymore.
"I know what you mean" Rhia replied, her gaze moving back to Naim, she wanted to save this place and she could only do it the one way she knew how, by talking to people and getting some sence back into them. Whether it would be successful was something else, she just hoped that it would work. Otherwise she would have to search her brains for another plan. "I just want everything to go back to normal, I hate it when it's like this" she added as a small sigh escaped her breath.
When he asked his next question, Rhia shrugged her shoulders. "I just needed to get outdoors and this was the best place to go" she replied with a soft smile. She had always loved the gardens, they were always so peaceful and she loved to just sit and watch the little kids playing around in the grass. Today there was none of that, kids were forbidden to see each other because of what was happening. The parents want what's best for the kids but taking away their fun wasn't the way to do it.

Naim, turned his head to look at her directly as she spoke. As, a way that showed that he was paying attention. Since, he had a tendency to drift off, when someone was talking, it didn't matter who, but it was mostly a habit.
"You're definately not the only one, who wishes it was normal..." Naim, responded, quietly. Then, finally after a few moments, he raised his head slightly to speak clearer. "I wish everything worked the way you wanted it too, when you wanted it. But, life's not like that, unfortunately... We all get one chance," He added, stopping for a moment, and his gaze adverting to different places around the gardens.
"I miss the way it was. Where, you could see little kids running around, and no tension between people. Might as well, get used to it. There's no way to change it now." He finally said, heaving a quiet sigh.
